MOWG’s Myanmar-inspired baskets are handcrafted from recycled plastic strapping using techniques perfected over generations, with the collection reflecting the heritage and creative way of life of the weavers.
Due to the ever-changing supply of materials, no two baskets are ever the same, so each style is unique – and, as they give new life to otherwise useless materials, they make minimal impact on the environment. The baskets come in three different designs – Petal, Check and Bicycle – available in a variety of sizes. MOWGS also invests in the small Myanmar villages of its weavers.
