Miele crowned Which? Home Appliance Brand of the Year 2016

For the second consecutive year, the German premium domestic appliance manufacturer, Miele has been crowned Home Appliance Brand of the Year at the Which? Awards.

Now in their tenth year, the awards recognise and celebrate the best businesses that deliver innovation, excellent products and service that score highly in Which? research and testing.

Jess O’Leary, Which? home appliances expert commented: “Miele’s strike rate in our testing is unparalleled – 91% of all appliances we’ve tested are either a Best Buy or Worth a Look.”

Simon Grantham, managing director at Miele GB, says, “We’re thrilled and proud to have once again won the coveted Which? Home Appliance Brand of the Year award. For consumers, it’s the highest accolade.

“The award is testament to everyone who is involved with the brand, from product development and brand management through to sales, service, product advice, warehouse and delivery.

“Miele strives to be ‘Immer Besser’  [German for ‘Forever Better’]:  passionate about offering consumers a whole host of performance and convenience features that are designed to add real benefits, precise results and make their lives easier.”

The Which? Awards ceremony took place on May 25 in London and was co-hosted by TV presenter Natasha Kaplinsky and Which? chief executive, Peter-Vicary Smith. The Awards are completely independent, with a company unable to nominate itself.
