Celebrity Liz Hurley will make a special appearance at the German trade show Ambiente.
The English actress and model will visit the exhibition, which is billed as the world’s leading international trade fair, on Monday (February 13).
The UK is the 2017 ‘partner country’ of the five-day event, which takes place in Frankfurt from February 10-14.
Fair organiser Messe Frankfurt said Liz plans to ‘get a preview of the colours, trends and novelties that are at the core of the interior season to come’. It added: ‘Her centre of attraction are, of course, some of the UK;’s most renowned manufacturers – be it crystal, ceramics or silverware. These companies are in the spotlight of Ambiente, as the UK is the exhibition’s partner country 2017.’
Liz commented: “A home that is not only beautiful, but underlines its inhabitant’s personality, is a source of inspiration. As an actress, inspiration is one of the key elements of success to me. So I’m super excited to check for tabletop, decoration and gifts at Ambiente.”
Born and raised in England, Liz has just completed filming season three of American TV series ‘The Royals’. She has been representing cosmetic giant Estee Lauder for 22 years and runs her own beachwear line, Elizabeth Hurley Beach. She has previously starred in films and TV shows including ‘Austin Powers’, ‘Bedazzled’ and ‘Gossip Girl’. Liz is the global ambassador of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
Last year, some 4,400 exhibitors showed their wares to 137,000 trade visitors from almost 150 countries at Ambiente. The show specialises in for products for the table, kitchen and household, gift articles, jewellery and fashion requisites, as well as decorative products, interior design concepts and furnishing accessories,
