Linens ‘n Things brand returns to Canadian stores

According to Reuters, a new licensing deal will see Home Outfitters sell certain Linens ‘n Things branded goods at its 69 stores in Canada from next spring. The arrangement will run until 2016.

Linens ‘n Things merchandise has been available online since both the US and Canadian businesses threw in the towel last October, but this is the first time that products will have returned to stores.

Reuters said the licensing deal was expected to generate more than $100m-worth of sales.
