Celebrity cook Jean-Christophe Novelli is set to cook up a storm at retailer Leekes’ Bilston and Cross Hands branches during the May Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday May 28 & Sunday May 29).
The multi-Michelin-starred French chef will be showcasing his culinary skills with a selection of dishes. Demonstrating a range of recipes inspired by his native roots, the dishes will include ratatouille and tarte tatin baked apple with caramel.
Limited VIP tickets are available at £5 which entitles the holder to a seat in the exclusive VIP area plus a glass of bubbly. Ticket holders will be able to redeem £5 off a £30 spend in the Leekes cookshop on the day of the event plus the opportunity to meet and greet the chef himself.
Tony Squires, store manager at Leekes Bilston, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jean-Christophe and are looking forward to seeing what’s on the menu.
“It’s a special occasion to have a celebrity chef serving up their own recipes, and we hope our customers will be able to join us and be inspired to try to recreate the dishes at home.”
Leekes operates five large home department stores in Wales, the West of England and the Midlands.
