Le Creuset recalls crack-risk glass lids

The company says the lids can crack or otherwise become damaged in use, and advises any consumers who bought or were given one of the lids since September 1 2010 to stop using it and seek a refund or replacement from Le Creuset.

The products concerned are: 24cm glass lid 962008240; 26cm glass lid 962008260; 28cm glass lid 962008280; and 30cm glass lid 962008300. Also potentially affected is the Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick 30cm shallow casserole with lid, 962002301.

Le Creuset says the recall does not affect the frypans themselves or any other Toughened Non-Stick cookware products.
