Housewares salesman Kevin Towler is set to make his TV debut in the next episode of competitive cookery show ‘Come Dine with Me’.
In the one-hour episode, which airs on Monday (September 25) on Channel 4 at 5pm, four strangers from in and round Essex will take turns hosting what they consider to be the ultimate dinner party. The guests give them points, and at the end of the contest, the host with the most points wins a £1,000 cash prize.
Channel 4 said: “Kicking off is geezer Kevin, who is hoping to use his skills as a kitchenware salesman to charm his guests.”
Kevin said: “I was really lucky to be chosen. It was an off-the-wall experience – and I hope it makes for great TV!”
Kevin won the salesperson of the year category of The Housewares Innovation Awards 2012, organised by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net.
