Residents of the Republic of Ireland can now shop John Lewis & Partners’ international range and receive free standard delivery, instead of the usual £7.50 delivery charge.
There is no minimum spend to qualify for free delivery and products will arrive within two to three working days. To ensure customers are kept up-to-date with when their products will reach them, a personalised text message or email will be sent out advising the date and time of delivery.
Customers can purchase a range of products including fashion, shoes, accessories, bedding and Christmas decorations via the department store group’s UK website or through a dedicated Irish site, which lists product prices in Euros.
Also, for the first time, Republic of Ireland customers will be able to buy a selected range of beauty products, including cosmetics, skincare and fragrance.
Ben Farrell, head of central operations for John Lewis & Partners, said: “We want to offer our loyal customers in the Republic of Ireland the best service we can this Christmas. We hope this free delivery trial proves popular over the festive period and that they enjoy not only having a more compelling delivery service but also shopping our fantastic range of own-brand and exclusive products.”
