Lorraine previously worked at retailer Wright’s Home Hardware in the North Ayrshire town of Largs for two years.

Chris McEwan, general manager of Home Hardware (Scotland), said: “Lorraine has gained a wealth of product knowledge during her time working at Wright’s Home Hardware and will now be able to apply that knowledge in her buying role with us. We are delighted to welcome her on board.”

Home Hardware (Scotland) is a buying and marketing group owned by its members who all run their own stores. There are currently more than 60 independent members’ shops throughout Scotland and the north of England, including hardware retailers, houseware shops, cookshops, ironmongers and garden centres.
