The Ideal Home Show is capitalising on the boom in home baking by launching a nationwide search for the UK’s Home Baker of the Year.
The show has been asking consumers to send in their ultimate home baking recipe plus a picture of the finished item for the chance to go through to the shortlist. Five finalists will then be invited to join the bake-off final live at the show on March 30.
The winner will receive a chance to be published in the Ideal Home Show’s official recipe book to be launched at the show in 2011, as well as go on a cake decorating course with an overnight stay in a top London hotel.
The Ideal Home Show runs at London’s Earl’s Court from March 20 to April 5.
