Celebrity Eddie Redmayne was spotted shopping in the Staffordshire market town of Leek last Saturday (February 4).
The British actor has appeared in films such as ‘My Week With Marilyn,’ ‘Les Misérables,’ ‘The Danish Girl’ and ‘The Theory of Everything- – winning a lead actor Oscar for the latter.
He was seen with his family in The Wooden Spoon Cookshop on Derby Street before heading to a nearby cafe for lunch.
Zoe Vincent, director of the Wooden Spoon Cookshop, confirmed to www.HousewaresLive.net that that the star had visited her business.
She said: “Yes, it’s true that Eddie Redmayne came in on Saturday. It was really nice to see that most of the people of Leek didn’t interrupt him and his family and let them get on with their day out. We had a brief chat and he was very friendly and down to earth.”
The Wooden Spoon Cookshop, which opened last September, is a finalist in the Best Rising Star category of The Housewares Innovation Awards 2017, organised by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine in collaboration with Spring Fair.
