Kitchen appliance manufacturer Gorenje is launching a special edition retro fridge, inspired by the Volkswagen VW Bulli Camper Van, in the second quarter.
The model is part of Gorenje’s retro collection and is based on its ORB freestanding product. It will be available in baby blue and bordeaux colourways.
Boasting the highest achievable energy-efficiency rating (A+++), the model has a gross capacity of 260 litres and includes IonAir and DynamiCooling food preservation technology.
Stuart Benson, sales director at Gorenje UK, said: “Volkswagen is one of the strongest brands in the world and we’ve really stepped up a gear with this partnership.
“As the producer of the original retro refrigerator, we could think of no better way to complement our product than with the beloved and iconic VW Camper Van. We are excitedly looking forward to seeing how we can drive sales with this unique addition to our range.”
