The Gift of the Year 2019 competition is now open for entries, and will remain open until November 30.
Organised by the Giftware Association (GA), the contest was launched at the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival in Harrogate this week.
Gift of the Year celebrates the best home and gift products that will be on the market in late 2018 and throughout 2019. Billed as the largest and most prestigious product competition in the gift industry, it will feature new categories and new judges in its 41st year.
The categories are: Kitchen & Dining, Branded Product, Home Accessory, Home Fragrance, Hot Novelty, Beauty, Bath & Spa, Cards & Wrap, Children’s Gift, Commemorative & Collectable Gift, Contemporary Gift, Design & Craft, Ethical Gift, Fashion Accessory, Fashion Jewellery, Festive & Occasional Gift, Food & Drink, Garden & Outdoor, Gift Stationery, Pet Gift and Under £10.
Winning and highly commended products are featured in the GA’s Winners’ Brochure which is distributed to GA retailer members and at major trade shows. The top prize, courtesy of Autumn Fair, is a free stand at the exhibition for the winner of the Judges’ Choice award.
