The first ever Housewares Conference took place on April 1st 2008, at the millennium Mayfair Hotel on London’s Grosvenor Square. A wholly new event for the whole
housewares market, the conference will now become an annual event in the housewares calendar and plans are already being drawn up for an even bigger
and better day next year.
![]() The aim of the Housewares Conference is give the housewares market a forum where ideas and strategies for better business relationships can be discussed, where issues affecting the sector can be clearly defined and solutions sought. This year’s event took place on April 1 and included sessions from Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, CEO of US housewares chain Sur La Table, Kathy Tierney and John Lewis buying director Maureen Dunn. ![]() The feedback we have had from delegates has been phenomenal (see the ‘What they said’ section on the main conference page) and the general consensus was that it was the perfect event for the entire industry to come together with one purpose. Look forward to seeing you next year! |
