In-store sales of family paddling pools were up by 548%, children’s pools were boosted by 421% and fans rose by 400% week-on-week.
Searches on argos.co.uk also climbed. Popular search terms included BBQ (up 161%), Lawnmower (up 92%), Fan (up 351%), Pool (up 299%) and Trampoline (up 66%).
