The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) is planning a three-day trade mission to the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
Organised by the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce, the event takes place from April 16 to April 18 and follows the success of BHETA’s export mission to Slovenia last October.
BHETA said: ‘With Romania’s 20 million population and a home improvement market worth Euro 2-3 billion, Romania has seen developing trends in both gardening and housewares.’
The mission will bring together distributors and retailers and will consist of store visits and a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event. Two and three-night packages will be available, which will include accommodation (B&B), airport/hotel transfers and one organised dinner. Participants will be responsible for their own flights and other food. BHETA noted that there is ‘an indicative cost of £600 for the three-night option with outward travel likely to be required on Sunday April 15’.
