BHETA launches export brochure

BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association) has launched an export brochure to enable its members to make the most of overseas trading opportunities,

A total of 3,000 copies are being sent to DIT (Department for International Trade) advisors at UK embassies around the world, advisors at all international Chambers of Commerce, and senior overseas retail buyers and commercial directors looking for British brands and suppliers.

The aim of the brochure is to increase awareness of BHETA members and the UK as a source of housewares, home improvement and garden brands and suppliers.

BHETA housewares sector director Will Jones, who is also member of the BHETA export committee, said: “It’s very important that BHETA does all it can to support members’ export aspirations. This brochure is one way in which we can provide key targets overseas with additional market intelligence, raise the profile of the UK and encourage international buyers to utilise BHETA’s online product, brand and supplier search facility www.bheta.co.uk/retailer-zone in all their sourcing activities. We are confident that initiatives such as this will prove a real incentive to all BHETA members to explore export opportunities to the fullest extent.”

BHETA home improvement sector director Paul Grinsell added: “BHETA is enabling some really positive export initiatives including trade missions and financial grants. This is the latest output from a committee of seasoned exporters within the association – and it’s great that members can call upon the experience of colleagues who are willing to share knowledge and best practice.”
