Asda’s Toffee and Candy Apples are available in-store at 60p each from today (Thursday October 18).
A well-established Autumn staple, the apples are popular for Halloween parties – and now come in three flavours.
Alongside the classic bright red Toffee Apple, there is the Candy Apple coated with milk chocolate and multi-coloured sugar strands, and the new Unicorn Candy Apple.
Inspired by the unicorn trend which has swept the globe and influenced food products everywhere, this apple is coated in sweet white chocolate and decorated with rainbow sprinkles.
Asda product developer James Waters said: “Toffee apples are synonymous with this time of year, so we took this inspiration and ran with it, creating products with three tasty flavours. We want our customers to really get into the spirit of Halloween, be able to enjoy and appreciate our creations with their friends and family, and indulge their sweet tooth in a different way.”
